Soyuz/Inflatable LEO Test Mission

Project Mission Statement

The purpose of this project is to offer inexpensive quick access to manned space flight research. In addition it is a technology demonstration for the subseqent lunar flyby mission using similar hardware.

Project Long Term Goals

Project long term goals are:

  1. Identify and recruit customers interested in inexpensive quick access to manned space flight research.

  2. Obtain necessary capital to finance all phases of mission.

  3. Coordinate facility operations with Russian and American manufacturers.

Project Groundrules

Project groundrules are:

  1. Mission must fly within 1 year of customer contract signing.

  2. Mission duration must be at least 2 weeks.

  3. Crew will remain suited for 1 day while testing the inflatable structure.

  4. Pilot is an experienced former Cosmonaut with extra-vehiclular activity experience.

  5. Other crewmember(s) will consist of a GSC employee and/or principal customer employee tasked with customer payload and life science operations.
